Oxford Diecast New Mini in Pepper White.
1:76 Scale Diecast Model with clear presentation box and removable plastic plinth. Part of the Oxford Diecast Railway Scale range.
Brand new tooling brings an iconic car into the Oxford Automobile Company range. We are sure this new addition – authentic down to the last detail – will appeal not only to Oxford Diecast collectors but also to MINI collectors around the globe. The BMW MINI – note the capitalisation of MINI – is the brand owned by the BMW Group and one they have used for the successors of the original – and now classic – Mini since April 2001. There are currently four variants – Convertible, Clubman estate, Countryman crossover, as well as the Hardtop, which is the subject of our new Oxford model. The first generation of the MINI, designed by Frank Stephenson following the acquisition of the Rover Group by the German car, still retained some of the classic Mini features. The MK II second generation and all-new car was launched in November 2006 and came on to the market in 2007. Though the MK II has a familiar look, the new car has been changed from the old model, incorporating many stylistic and engineering changes, with much of the engineering done in the UK. It is still in production today.
